Best Locations for Your Next Adventure Vacation

Being adventurous is a state of mind and as things of mind tends to be, you can’t switch them on and off. Thankfully being in the midst of a vacation doesn’t have to involve turning away from your adventurous streak.  Here the top destinations for adventurous souls.

Rwanda – Face to Face with Gorillas: - Come face to face with the massive man-like gorillas in the mountains of Rwanda. Less than 700 of these majestic animals are left in the world and hiking the dense jungles and interacting with them is an experience of a lifetime.  After gorilla watching, you can hang up your boots and grab a cold beer to sit back watch the sun go down behind the mountains in Ruwezori Range.

Siberia – Raft on the Bailkal: - One of world’s deepest lakes, Lake Baikal is a massive 3.8 million hectare water body in the middle of Siberia. Spend your day kayaking to the tiny islands within the lake, exploring hidden bays and camping in desolate sand dunes. There is plenty of hot springs in the area to relax after a hard day of rowing.

Australia- Explore an under-explored shore: -Explore the Arnhemland Coast in north central Australia under the guidance of Yolgnu Aboriginal park rangers. This is one of the least developed shorelines and is almost totally desolate except for the few tribes in the area. Traverse the area on foot, a four wheel drive and a helicopter. When you are not exploring the outback, spend time with the local villagers to gain insight into century old philosophies about the area

Wyoming – Trek the Grand Teton: - The Mountain has long been regarded as a rite of passage for beginner climbers who are trying to take their skills to the next level. There are two other close mountains in the area, and together they have been defined as the ‘best continuous climbing in the lower 48’. The best part is that you don’t have to be an expert climber to undertake the hiking, anyone who is reasonably fit and has 5.8 level multipitch can give it a shot.
